  • How to configure G.Skill F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM to run at 1600 MHz on Asus M4A785TD-V EVO

    Hello,

This is my first post ;-)

Please, I need help to configure this memories on asus mobo.

I try to set my BIOS memory settings at 800 MHz, 7-8-7-24 but I can't configure 2T in Command Rate (CR), this option is not present on my BIOS.

Can I configure this memories at 1600 8-8-8-24?

What is the best configuration for this memories on this asus mobo?

    I have got a Phenom II 965 C3 (125W) and the last BIOS 0602.

    Thank you very much.

Yes, DDR3-1600 8-8-8-24 would be the best configuration.

    Thank you

      Hello again,

I did it and it seems stable:

      1600 8-8-8-24 1T

I passed once the memtest, is it enought to sure the system stability?

      Thank you very much.

You could run additional passes for testing purposes, if you'd like, if you do run into any problems can change Command Rate to 2T and that should alleviate anything.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

I can't do it because my mobo don't allow this option in BIOS setup
