Only 3.75Go on 4Go are used with F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ ???

I bought :
memory sticks----G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ

Mother board : ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G

CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 845 Socket AM3 125W

With Windows Seven 64 bits.

My problem:
only 3.75Go are used and not 4Go.
I tried to use the others channel of the motherboard but nothing.
No problem with memtest 86+.


Why? Is it a problem of compatibility with Windows 7 64 bits?

Sounds like the memory may be shared with another hardware. Check Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information and you can see where the memory is allocated. It may be with the video card, page filing, or virtual memory.
