  • F3-12800CL8T-6GBRM on Asus P6T SE not stable

    Hi,

    I put together a system a few weeks ago using the following hardware;
    i7 920
    Asus P6T SE
    6gb Gskill ripjaw F3-12800CL8T-6GBRM 8-8-8-24@1.6
    CM V8
    Corsair 650w
    Windows 7 64 bit
    Ati Radeon HD 4670

    Ever since I am unable to get my system stable. With everything untouched in the bios I will have a blue screen from time to time, with "dumping physical memory" on the bottom end. When it reach 100%, the computer restart and only 4gb out of 6 shows up. It was stable for a complete week @ 3.4ghz with 9-9-9-24@1.6, running at 1600mhz. Yeserday i put it at 3.8ghz and put the memory @ 14xxmhz and it crashed. The thing is, it will never crash when it runs on 4gb. Even with stock timing (8-8-8-24) and the cpu @ 2.66 it was crashing, sometime only sowing 4gb on a cold boot.

    So far I tried;

    -One stick at a time using memtest, no error
    -Starting windows with one stick at a time on their own slot, no problem
    -Upping the qpi voltage (I'm at 1.38 now)
    -Moving from slot to slot, will crash anyway

    I will restart my computer and take a screenshot of my bios setting.

      Try disabling the TM, C1E, and speedstep. May also want to disable load line calibration.

      You may need to raise the QPI/DRAM Voltage a little more. Try it on AUTO and see what the motherboard automatically sets it at.

      At DDR3-1451 above, QPI/DRAM Voltage may be too high.

      Thank you
