First, you'll want the latest BIOS, either the F3 or the Beta F4c,(the F1 is very buggy and F2 though fairly stable still a bit on the off side, particularly with RAM) both can be found here:

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...2851#anchor_os

then you'll want to set your base timings manually (don't trust the AUTO settings) of 9-9-9-24, with Command Rate/Timing of 2N (or 2T depending on how it's shown), DRAM Voltage 1.35.

May have to increase NB voltage .1 or so and will want to check tRFC (will want 195ish if shown in 'ns' (nano-seconds) else appr 88 if not in ns). With your OC may also have to increase vCore voltage to CPU.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Okay, well i got it working after updating the bios I just set everything to auto then set the FSB from 333 to 400 and now it suddenly works, with the right timings too. But now my system isn't stable. I ran prime95 and it errors out instantly. know of a reason or fix for this?

          nb is 1.1
          vcore i believe is 1.32
          and tRFC is 88

try NB at 1.20 to 1.24 (think 1.2 should suffice), tRFC and vCore look okay

hey i got it working. but my nbridge is 1.24 and my ram voltage is 2.06 0.0 but its stable. and at the right timings. think it will be okay at that voltage? i tried 2.08 and wouldnt boot and 2.04 was a lil stable but error after about 3 mins

These are the current settings and voltages I have it at right now, being the most stable and right timings.

I'm sorry this is so difficult. I will just leave my ram clock at 1333mhz, unless you know what the problem is off the bat. I will not benefit much more for it to be at 1600mhz anyways right?

The only possible changes I see for DDR3-1600 are:

                            Performance Enhance - Standard
                            Extreme Memory Profile - Disabled
                            System Memory Multiplier - 4.00 for DDR3-1600
                            MCH Core AUTO
                            DRAM Voltage 1.35V

Otherwise, DDR3-1333 with 8-8-8-21 timings will be just as fast as DDR3-1600 CL9

                            Thank you
