Thank you for the reply. I will try those settings. If my CPU will not run DDR3 1600, what is my choice? Do I swap memory for a compatible type? What memory does GSKILL make that is compatible with my CPU?

I have given up on this memory not worth thr trouble of trying to get it to work. I an going to buy some Corsair memory at 1333 and see if that works. I should have that much problem with a build. I don't blame GSKILL, I think my problem is the CPU not supporting 1600. I will post one last time if this is the case to help anyone else with this AMD CPU and it's limitations. AMD only says DDR3 compatable only in the technical documents does it say that my CPU can only support up to 667Mhz. They should put this with the discription of the CPU when they sell it. Thank you for you help.

Simply set it to DDR3-1333 and use 8-8-8-24 timings and everything should run fine. Let me know how that goes.
