F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD - Asus P6T WS

Hello,

i bought 2 kit of g.skill memory F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD for my configuration:
Asus P6T WS professional
Intel I975
Nvidia Quadro 3800
12GB Gskill memory (2kit F3-12800CL6T-6GBTD)

If i put on my motherboard 1kit (6GB) there is no problem but if i put the 2kit (12GB) only 8GB are detected by the motherboard. Is this kit compatible for this motherboard? What could I do inder that my motherboard detected the 12 GB installed?

Try running each stick individually w/ Memtest to ensure all sticks are good (no errors). Then install and run w/ 3 sticks in slots 1-3-5, make sure all show up. Next add additional 3 sticks.

In BIOS manually set base timings to 6-7-6-18, DRAM voltage to 1.6, speed to 1600 and Command Rate to 2T (or 2N) depending on how it shows.

If continued problems may want to loosen timings to 7-7-7-21. May also want to increase voltage to CPU/MC to adjust for 12GB.

If still problems please post your BIOS settings, particularly the advanced timings and voltages.
