you may have a i5 750 with weak memory controller, so there is problem while running dual channel

Is this fixable? I've never heard of such a thing. Do you have any links to share? Should I RMA the processor or is this even possible?

Try the following settings, let me know how it goes.

          AI Overclock Tuner - Manual
          CPU Ratio Setting - 17.0
          BCLK Frequency - 160
          DRAM Frequency - DDR3-1600MHz

          CPU Voltage - 1.10V
          IMC Voltage - 1.20V
          DRAM Voltage - 1.65V
          CPU PLL Voltage - 1.90V

          DRAM Timing Control (submenu)
          CAS Latency - 7
RAS to CAS Delay - 7
          RAS PRE Time - 7
          RAS ACT Time - 24

          DRAM Timing Mode - 2N
          All others can be AUTO

The memory should be installed in the same color slots.

          Thank you

Still won't work. Memtest fails in seconds with dual channel. After reading a few other posts I realize that I'm also having cold boot issues in single and dual channel.

            Should I RMA these sticks?

it is not fixable, but Intel official spec is only upto DDR3 1333, so it may not be acceptable for Intel
generally, this issue will not be found easily, since users thought it's memory issue first
We can't guarantee it's memory controller issue, but it's possible
we also have to double test to make sure the problem
              thanks

So do I just RMA the Memory then? Do you actually test my sticks or do I just get a replacement? Or should I buy an Core i7 instead

we'll replace with a new replacement
for CPU part, you could consider after you received the replacement
                  thanks

Thanks for all your help. I'm going to start the RMA but since I need to use my computer I'm going to pick up another set of this RAM (4GB).

Do you think that that I'll be able to use (8GB) with no problems once the defective Ram comes back from RMA?

Yep, you should have no issues operating 8GB with your hardware.

                      Thank you

So I went out and bought another 4GB of this ram and one of the sticks won't even run at 9-9-9-24 @ 133...so I have one good stick out of four for a 75% failure rate.... This ram sucks.

Not sure if the G.Skill Tech guys are working this week but if you could respond when you get a chance I'd appreciate it.

I've done a lot more testing over the last few days and have found that one of the new sticks is good at 7-7-7-24-2N @ 1.65v and BLCK at 160. However, one of my first sticks will run with these setting too, but only in the second Dimm slot. Why is that?

If I try to run both sticks in dual channel Memtest still fails in seconds. Please help me understand if this is the ram, the mobo or the CPU's memory controller. I want to get this fixed. Thx
