  • F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ Timeing's in a ASUS M4A79XTD EVO

    I need to set-up the correct setting's for this RAM. G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ . I'm pairing it with ASUS M4A79XTD EVO motherboard. Amd 955 BE CPU. How do i set it up to run at 1600?

Will wnat to set your base timings and DRAM Voltage manually to spec, tRFC to 127.5, Command Rate to 2N, . If you still have stability issues after this, then will want to raise the vCore a bit...and possibly the NB and HT voltages

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

The tRFC settings on my mobo are 90, 110,160 and 300 ns.

Try 110 initially, then 160 if needed, think 110 should work.

which BIOS version did you use?
the latest BIOS version is 0605, updated on 10/14
please try to update the bios up to date first
and to run DDR3 1600 on AM3 platform, you may need to increase NB and HT voltage to 1.4-1.5v to make it stable
for other timing, you could only set 9-9-9-24-2N(tCL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS-Command Rate) at DDR3 1600
and the memory voltage should be set to 1.5v if possible
          thanks
