Anyone else running DDR3 in 2024?

Hey, joined the forums because I do a lot of overclocking with G.Skill DDR3. Put in an RMA a few months ago and was really surprised when it actually got fulfilled.

Had me wondering, do any of y'all still mess with DDR3 now? I don't see many people benching it these days, wish more people would bc it's fun af

I consider some of the DDR3 platforms to be my favorites and am still regularly benching them from time to time (nothing serious, just for fun).

Very lucky you got those PI replaced 1:1. Interesting lot codes, too

Last time I asked, support told me they wouldn't be able to replace one of my defective DDR3 kits 1:1 anymore. So I did hold back on the RMA, since one of the modules is still working/useful and the kit is kind of a collectors item for me anyways.

Yeah, I sent them in thinking they wouldn't touch them. Was really surprised when they actually sent me kits back. I think they only keep spare ICs/PCBs around for higher-end kits, also probably depends on what country you're in.
