Hello All,
I have an EVGA N790i Ultra SLI MoBo and a Q9550,
I am aware that my 790i is a DChan board and the ram I have is a 6gig Tri-Chan kit,
I have removed 1 chip (brings it to 4gig) and placed them in the DC setup,
I have had success stabalising this at 1800fsb with 900Mhz 11-11-11-29 2T, 1.6Volts
I had some success with this setting at 900Mhz 10-10-10-27 2T, 1.6Volts
I am trying to get this to overclock to 1884fsb (Q9550@4Ghz)(I run linked and Sync'ed). Do you think it will be possible on these chips? I dont want to slip the timmings any more.
What would be the Max recommended voltage to put through these chips?
I have a G.skill RAM cooler and good case airflow.
Is there any ways that you know of to reach this level?
Cheers,
Aus.
