Ripjaws X Series Memory Compatability with ASUS P7P55D

Is the Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR 1600 (Model: F3-12800CL10S-8GBXL)
compatable with the Asus P7P55D motherboard?
If you think another type of ram would be better please advise.

8GB modules should be no problem with latest BIOS
