Hi I'm wanting to upgrade my ram any suggestions I have g skill as of now F3-10666CL9-4GBRL x4. Something a bit faster ?
I found these sets it says it well work ? But I don't know much about memory have been doing some research. I posted in the general dis cussing it looks like I was in the wrong place.

Stick with a 2 stick configuration.

I'd go with Trident X 2400 CL10.

Then run it at 1866 CL8 or 2133 CL9.

The speed will be determined by the CPU's IMC more then anything else.

Considering all your other hardware, you'll want at least DDR3-1866. Though keep in mind RAM is the only item that isn't plug and play for the high speeds. You have to manually configure settings in BIOS. We can definitely help with this if needed.
