  • I bought 2400 Mhz TridentX 2nd time, is there something wrong?

    Hello;
    One years ago, i bought 2x4 Tridentx 2400 mhz ram. As you know, those rams originally work at 1600 mhz. In XMP, OC ed mode they work at 2400 mhz. That is okay, but a few days ago, i also order 2x8 tridentx 2400 mhz kit. They also work at 2400 mhz but in features of them it is seen they originally work at 1333 mhz, mustnt it be 1600? You can see details in photos.

    was i be ripped off? or 1333 mhz is normal?

    Not all kits have a DDR3-1600 JEDEC profile, some use DDR3-1333. You can check that in the specs on the product page (SPD speed):

          Some kits use a DDR3-1600 JEDEC profile, some use DDR3-1333. It only means they boot up at these values, but as long as XMP Profile is correct, you have no worries.
