      Can I use any of the newer kits? I have the Asus WS Revolution 1366 w/ X58 chipset.

        GSkill has a couple of 3x4GB sets in 1600, can be seen here:

        or you could look towards a 4x4GB set that will work in triple channel, there are a number of them available: I'd prob look towards a 2133/CL9 set like the Snipers F3-17000CL9Q-16GBSR or Ripjaws Z F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH

          I found a 12gb kit on Ebay today! I'm pretty excited. I'll have 24gb in my rig now.

              6 core Intel 980x
              24gb G.Skill DDR3 2000 mem
              Triple SLI GTX 295 EVGA Co-op cards (overclocked)
              (2) Intel X25 64gb SSD drives in RAID 0 on a PCIe 3Ware 4 channel card.
              (2) Seagate Cheetah 15k SAS drives in RAID 0
              (2) Black label WD 2TB 2001FASS drives in RAID 0
              Corsair 800d chassis w/ twin monsta radiators, triple gtx 295 cooling blocks, chipset blocks, cpu block.
              1kw Corsair psu
