i bought a pair of g skills about a year ago for my i7 3770k system

ran normally on default bios settings on a asus p8z77_v Pro

until the pass week, the system started BSOD frequently even on idle status

minor memtest of 2048 mb gave me following results

they were bought as a pair from a authorized local retailer

tried 2T settings on 1.51V gave results on 3rd set of 2048 memtest


side note.
The set never had the X.M.P settings available on any bios versions on this MB

May want to RMA, if still getting BSODs, the CR at 1T as described in you PM could have been problematic...if BSODs are gone the errors from the 'in Win' version of Memtest could be from having CPU-Z open - this version of Memtest that run under Windows doesn't want any other programs open....as for XMP, it wouldn't have anything, XMP is only applicable to DRAM at 1600 and up as native, so 1333/1066, etc don't have/use it.

i ran the cpu-z after i had the memtest errors up just for the ss
