F3-10666CL7-4GBRH & Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 - compatible???

Hi guys,

Searched but couldn't find anything specific about this ram kit.

I have [ Ripjaws ] F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH (2Gx2) and wondering if this is compatible with the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 motherboard.

This board isn't listed on Gskill website list of supported motherboard for this ram kit, and the Gigabyte QVL only mentions F3-10666CL7D-8GBRH (2x4), not the 4GBRH.

Beside the ram size of each stick, is there really a difference between the 8GBRH and 4GBRH kits?

My CPU is an AMD Phenom II X2 560

Should be fine with the mobo, you don't mention your CPU and not all AMD CPUs will be able to carry a tight CAS 7, so may have to run them at CL8/1333
