I have chosen for a new build the following:
ASUS Maximus V EXTREME LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623I72600K
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL
EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-3662-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
my question since I've been reading the issues with the bios and ram, is it a 100% probability I will run into the same issue?
$$ is in the equation on this build and I'd like to bump up to 16g RAM, what would you suggest without me having to take out a second mortgage would be a good RAM upgrade choice?
It's been quite a while since I've built a new system, hope I remember how.
TIA
