I checked on the GSkill site, but the motherboard isn't listed as an option, probably because it just came out a month ago.

Is F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231428) compatible with the MSI Z77 MPOWER (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...E16813130660)?

Yes should have no problem, have heard of a number of BIOS problems but primarily with 2133 and up DRAM and large amounts 16GB-32GB
