    Oh that is awesome...thank you very much!

    The ASUS literature doesn't claim to support the Trident series RAM at all but I know that isn't gospel.

    If I could get some feedback on this being a certain solution to my issue I would be inclined to pull the trigger and buy the Trident sticks.

      these are great sticks, same basic timings, but the Tridents perform a bit better as they were designed for the 3rd gen CPUs and Z77 that you have, which is why they live in my Z77. And Asus hasn't tested yet, more than likely since it's a newer line and they don't have any to work with yet
