  • Configuring my memory

I just built a new system and the motherboard put the ram speed at 1333. Using the motherboard, it just had a drop down menu to set it to 1600, which I did. I was curious if that is fine or if I should set it manually. If manually, what would be the proper settings to set it at?

    Thanks

Can always go into BIOS and see what the timings are set to, should be 9-9-9-24, CR (Command Rate) at 2T or 2N and DRAM voltage at 1.5

Well, there are two pages of timings on this. The first 4 do say 9 9 9 24, however when I drop down to the end of the 2nd page the command rate is set to 1T.

Try that at 2T, should be more stable, though if stable 1T provides a slight performance boost
