Hello all,

Does anyone know if I'll be able to achieve 1066 with these components?

Memory: F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
Motherboard: GA-MA790X-UD4P
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition Kuma

This review says that this processor supports 1066 for instance.

I'd just like to know before I drop the $.

Believe it should work, Gigabyte has the set on their approved QVL

I saw that on GB's website, but the board wasn't listed on GSkill's. I know they can't list every single board though. That, coupled with the problems people seem to be having getting their ram to hit 1066, made me want to check.

Should work fine @ 4GB, I use alot of GB mobos, but if you are thinking of going to 8GB in the future, it will probably be a bit harder, mainly due to going with an AMD CPU, they just seem to take a lot more tweaking to get things to speed and stable.
