Hi, i sent in an RMA form last night, but would like to explain the situation in more detail.
Purchased these F2-6400CL5-2GBPQ on Dec 19 2010, and worked without major issue up untill the 26th or 27th of July 2011 when 1 stick fully failed, producing STOP codes 0A, 4A, 1E etc.
I did notice however degraded performance since may? 2011.
On August 1st I removed 1 stick to test for stability, i continued having BSOD so i swapped out that stick with the one I pulled.... The system is stable and responsiveness has been restored
OS: Win7 x64/x86
MOBO: GA-MA785GM-US2H (F11,F12a)
RAM: F2-6400CL5-2GBPQ (Dual channel kit)
CPU : Athlon ii 450
PSU: Antec 650 NEW TP
I would like to return them as a set, and perhaps gskill can give me a nice hand tested set in return
Note: Prime95 and Memtest DID-NOT produce any errors.
Raising memory voltage to 2.1 DID-NOT resolve issues.
Raising CPU-NB voltage DID-NOT resolve issues.
