i have a asus p5q pro turbo motherboard and i'm using G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1200 (PC2 9600) Desktop Memory Model F2-9600CL6D-4GBRH ram .i'd like to overclock it more then what i'm getting . right now i can only get it to around 1240 /1250 before i start getting bsod or no boot. can someone please help me with the timming settings .

Might be able to take it a little higher by loosening the timings, but overall performance would actually drop by loosening the CL to gain 40-80 in 'speed'

i guess what i'm looking for is the timming settings for this ram .
what i have now is

6 6 6 18 65 and all the rest are on auto.

If you loosen the timings to say 7-7-7-21 you might get it up to 1300 or more, but your actual performance will drop due to the higher CL of 7

Did you raise NB Voltage? It may need a boost to support higher memory frequency.
