  • GA-EP45-UD3R w/ F2-8800CL5Q-8GBPI CMOS settings

I would like to get some help to achieve the most stable setting in BIOS for Gigabyte EP45-UD3R motherboard and F2-8800CL5Q-8GBPI memory. Right now my timings are way off and I run into many issues.

    Operating System
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    CPU
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83GHz 45 ?C
    Yorkfield 45nm Technology
    RAM
    8.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 533MHz 5-7-7-20
    Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. EP45-UD3R (Socket 775)
    Graphics
    SyncMaster @ 1280x1024
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 240
    Hard Drives
    1500GB Main (SCSI)
    160GB Seagate ST3160212SCE (SATA Consumer Electronics) 33 ?C
    80GB Western Digital WDC WD800JD-22MSA1 (SCSI) 28 ?C

The system resets on a 5-5-5-15 timing without posting.

I would like to figure a way to get the 5-5-5-15 timing @ 1100 and be as stable as possible.

I have notice that when my system sits for about an hour with no input windows hangs, but shows no errors, mouse moves - can't launch any program including start menu till at least a log off\re-login action through ctrl-alt-del. I attribute this to memory timings being way off.

Again, what timings and voltage settings should I use for this MB?

-- need to add that tRFC in set to 80 and CMD set to 2
Everything else is set to auto.
PS is brand new 750W - MB brand new, CPU brand new, etc...
