    I just purchased this RAM from Newegg
    F2-5300CL5d-4gbsa
    G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model F2-5300CL5D-4GBSA - Retail

    for my:
    Apple MacBook Memory
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz 13" Screen - Black
    Bus Speed: 667 MHz
    Current RAM:
    Size: 1 GB
    Type: DDR2 SDRAM
    Speed: 667 MHz

    When installed computer fails to start (at all).

    Ideas what I might be doing wrong, or who should I direct this question too please?

    May have to go into BIOS and tell it that you have 2GB, not sure your MAC has auto detect, (which may be an option to turn auto defect on)

      This memory package is for PCs not Apple Mac Laptops. The correct memory package is G.Skill FA-5300CL5D-4GBSQ.
