F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK settings for Gigabyte EP45-DS3L?

Hi, I have the following:

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
Q6600 G0 SLACR @ 2.4GHz
GIGABYTE EP45-DS3L
SeaSonic M12II SS-500GM

The only way I can get this RAM stable is to run it at the motherboard's AUTO settings with the CPU also at stock settings. Even if I run the CPU at stock and the RAM with manually-configured settings as described on the packaging, Windows will BSOD with some IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_NOT_EQUAL error.


Do you guys have settings you recommend for running this RAM at various (800MHz/1066MHz) settings on this particular motherboard?

Make sure you have the latest BIOS, try setting the FSB to 1066, vCore about 1.3 (initially), set timings to spec (5-5-5-15, 2T), DRAM voltage to 2.05 and raise NB voltage + 0.04

Where can I find this 2T setting in my BIOS?

Command Rate or Command Timing and it may be with a 'N' instead of the 'T' i.e. 2N
