  • problem with asus sabertooth 55I and gskillmemory in dual channel

    Hi,

    motherboerd:asus sabertooth 55i
    processor: core i7 860

I've the F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH (2Gx2) set and I try to put the ram in dual channel. But when I put the ram for dual channel my pc don't start the MemOK! button in the motherboard is red. I put in the button to check frequency but nothing. In single channel I've no problems..

And I've a second problem a friend give the F3-16000CL9D-4GBRHD (2Gx2) set. It's the same ram just the voltage is 1.65V and the second is 1.6V. I try to put the 4 ram in my pc in window reconize just 2 RAM and cpuiz 3 ram all the latency are correct and the voltage is in 1.6V. Are the problem maybe the xmp (1 ram xmp per slot int the manual of asus?) but always disactivate it's the same result.

All the two of ram is Qualified comptibme in your website

Thanks for help an apologize for my wrtiting skill in english

Is this a new motherboard? Or did it work fine before with other memory? Sounds like the motherboard is bad, so if you have any other kind of DDR3 memory, that would be a perfect test to make sure.

    Thank you

XMP won't work with two sets of DRAM installed , will need manual settings, will it work with either set of the sticks

Based on those test results, it appears to be an issue with A slots.

                Thank you
