  • [Only for Falcon II] firmware 2030 released

    Dear Customers,

    Here comes the Falcon II new firmware Rev. 2030.

    ──Change Note──
    Feature Add: User data scrambling capability was added.
    Bug Fix: More read fail scenarios were added to firmware bad block management.
    Bug Fix: ATA Security bug fixes.
    Other: For sleep/standby command, idle time garbage collection is better to be not started.

    Caution!!
    Before upgrading new firmware please backup your data of target SSD.
    After upgrading your SSD will be wiped and all data will be destroyed!!


    Note:
    1. Please set SATA as IDE mode in BIOS first before upgrading new firmware
    2. The target SSD could not be an OS drive. Your should boot from the other drive.




    Upgrade Procedure:

    1. Download and extract the firmware files.


    2. Select the proper file which is correspondent with the capacity of your target SSD and right-click then choose "Run as administrator".



    3. It display some notes and the drive list it detect.



    4. Carefully check the correct target SSD and keyin its number then press enter.

    5. It warn that the upgrading will erase all data on the target drive. Press y and enter to continue.



    6. If upgrade successfully finished, the result would told on the prompt.
    Now you accomplish the mission.



    7. If you get error message below please try the other file in step 2.
