  • cold boot bug? :(

    hey,

got my new i5-760, asus p7p55d LE and another 4gb RAM (f3-12800cl9d-4gbnq, got already one kit before (which worked flawless)) on tuesday. built it up, installed w7 prof x64, everythings fine.

on wednesday i got bsod's after i cold bootet (memtest shows hundreds of failures), changed the BCLK to 160, IMC voltage to 1.20V and the timings to 8-8-8-24 @ 1.50V and everythings fine again (no memtest failures, prime works also).

today, i got bsod's again. turned computer completely off, back on, everythings fine again (no memtest failures, prime works also).

so, is this the cold boot bug? :/

Either, whichever is more convenient for you.

          back in business.

finally got my new kit, and everything's perfect.

just 1 question: can i run them @ 1.6v (for some overclocking)?
