  • F3-10666CL7D has CL9 timings saved in SPD-PROM

    Hi,

I bought 4GB of F3-10666CL7D DDR3 RAM (7-7-7-21). Is it normal that it tells CL9 timings to the Bios? Why does the SPD-PROM contain wrong settings?

Is there a list of the correct timings? There are much more possibilities than just changing 9/24 to 7/21.

Will the system run stable with changing timings to 7/21?

    Thanks + Regards,
    Martin

SPD timings are always more relax. You will want to enable XMP for the 7-7-7-21.

As long as you manually set DDR3-1333, 7-7-7-21, 1.50V, everything else will be just fine.

    Thank you
