F3-1600C9D-16GAR and MSI motherboard

Hello and good morning,
I'm assembling a new PC and already have the MSI Z77MA-G45 motherboard and the Intel i5 3450 CPU.
Later the year it shall work with Windows 8.

I want to use the Ares F3-1600C9D-16GAR (2 x 8GB).
The RAM bar must fit under the CPU fun (max. 35mm/1.3 inch)

The qualified motherboard list says the memory is good for the Z77A-G45,
so can I take it then also for my board named above which is the micro ATX form-factor?
Do they work together?

Should be fine, the Ares are 33mm and are fine w/ your mobo

Computer is assembled.
MSI motherboard, G.Skill bars and Windows 8 64bit work perfectly together.
"Desktop" is on screen/Starting sequence is done within less than 20sec.
