Unable to F3-10666CL7Q-16GBXH (4 x 4GB) over 1666Mhz

Hi guys,

I need some help. I am at my wits end. I have tried eveything but unable to get this memory over 1666Mhz. Once I past that stage, the settings I tried will either make the system not boot or very unstable. Can anyone give me some ideas?

Here are the Specs:

AMD A8-3870K Unlocked Llano 3.0GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD

ASUS F1A75-V EVO FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL7Q-16GBXH

Here is the pictures of what I have now that is stable:

APU 125, Apu Multiplier 29, Memory frequency 1666MHZ, CPU voltage: 1.55V
VDDNB: 1.075V, DRAM: 1.5V, SB 1.1v Voltage: 1.14v, 1.1Vsb Voltage:1.1v,
APU1.2V Voltage:1.2v, VDDA Voltage: 2.5v

Primary Timings: 9-9-9-24 DRAM COMMAND MODE: 2

You've prob reached the limit, OC 1333 to 1666 is pretty good, but if you want to run faster DRAM, best bet would be to buy 1600 sticks and OC that or get 1866 sticks and downclock them. To be honest don't even know if your Llano can handle much faster than where you are now

Doh!!! Can I have some pointers on what voltage other than the DRAM to increase the ability to OC the memory. I got those numbers with out changing anything at all. The only thing I changed was the clock speed.

I am not really sure what other device is related to the RAM when overclocking.

Primarily the CPU/NB voltage and can try increasing the CPU/NB freq - around 2800 is needed for 1866

So on this MB, I can increase the following:

APU 125
CPU voltage: 1.55V
VDDNB: 1.075V

Is there anything else I need to change from the list of status I have posted in the first post?

CPU-NB Frequency is fine on AUTO for Llano platform.

Raise VDDNB for overclocking frequency
