A few things are built into the keyboard, like keyboard brightness (above F3 key), and media keys (if the signals are interpreted correctly in your OS), and on-the-fly (OTF) macro recording. So these items should be able to be used without software installed.
To clear a macro from a key without software, do the following:
1. Press "MR" to begin OTF macro recording.
2. Press a key to select that key for recording.
3. Press the same key once for its original function.
4. Press "MR" to complete the recording.
You're essentially programming the key with its original function.
