Hello,
First sorry for my english !
I am disappointesd my Gskill ram doesn't work well at 1333 Mhz with my Asus P5KC motherboard.
I asked for any solution in Asus forum :
The only answer I received was to try set manually all tweaks...
I did not succed. I am very suspicious of an Asus problem, not able to delivery a correct bios nor correct answer.
I read many posts relating same problems ; that one is synthetic :
Right now, my PC runs stable with 1066 Mhz... a bit frustrating
Have you any idea of any solution ?
Regards

Hello,
I read several topics with great interest cause I know same problems.
I set 2x2go DDR3 1333 mhz RAM on my P5KC, but does not work stable.
I tried everything said here without result. Nothing work except set RAM on 1066 mhz in Bios.
My PC :
Power Unit 600 W
P5KC bios 1203
Intel Core 2 duo E8400
2x2 Go RAM G Skill Extreme 8-8-8-21 voltage 1.6
Windows XP pro 32 bits
I tried all combinations with DRAM frequency set on 1333 :
All others settings auto
Manual settings
Manual DRAM voltage
Lock FSB coefficient to 9 x 333 or auto setting
More CPU voltage or auto setting
etc...
Always ends to crash in few minutes, sometimes with blue screen : the best I had is with all settings auto but DRAM lock on 1333 mhz. Works ok on idle but very instable while playing or even with internet navigator (IE or Firefox) : freezes and then crashes...
Only solution that works fine is setting DRAM on 1066 mhz : then works very stable, able to stand OCCT during one hour.
Any solution ?

Dear friend, I see here a lot of people have the same problem I had some months ago with an OCZ set of DDR3 1333 memory. The set was not stable at all and I got lost into the labyrinth of internet requests, settings and experiments. Actually the solution was simple thus frustrating. The only QVL (approved by vendor in other words) approved memory I could find was corsair DDR3 1333 which actually had a proof of test scanned for internet use. I don't remember where I got the proof from (just google it e.g. p5kc TWIN3X2048 ddr3 test) but with a print of that and the url underneath this I took them back to the shop I bought them. I was annoyed and disturbed by the attitude, but they finally replaced them with the ones I mentioned above.
All my problems are solved now. Ok some here claim that there exist some settings that will make the memory work. I have never seen one here claiming that they did work! my OCZs didn't for what I can tell, who knows about the rest.
I hope I helped. I had a horrible time trying to make the OCZs run, and finally failed.
OCZ offered a refund, but that would not solve the problem.
